Vice President and MP of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Ivan Vuković said that the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić is a "stone around the neck" of European Montenegro.
At the press conference in the parliament, the club of DPS representatives again covered the new logo of the Assembly with stickers, this time with EU flags.
"Mandić's meeting with (President of the European Parliament Roberta) Metsola was cancelled, and then he begged for a phone call. Mandić is a stone around the neck of European Montenegro. Since the reconstruction of the Government, the majority cannot introduce Montenegro into the EU. There is no government large enough to could cover up this fact," said Vuković.
"While we are ashamed before the world of the President of the Assembly, we are anxiously awaiting the inter-governmental session and whether they will accept all four chapters. At this moment, information is arriving in Montenegro about the irresponsible behavior of the majority, which, under pressure from the outside, voted for the Resolution on Jasenovac, that they will Croatia, which has lobbied for Montenegro for years, should block one or more chapters," he adds.
He reminds that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said in an interview that the resolution could have bad consequences, and indicates that you cannot join the EU without the approval of all member states.
"Mandić once said that he hoped that modern Croatia would not identify itself with the NDH".
When asked by a journalist how he views the Government's decision to cede the Tivat House of Culture "Josip Marković" to Croatia and whether it is a correction of mistakes from the past, and whether we should agree to the transfer of state property, Vuković replied that it is an example of "political dilettantism". and that it shows how the majority sees European integration.
"Now that the consequences are visible, the Government, like a gambler, wants to correct the mistake".
