The president of the Liberal Party and one of the leaders of the European Union, Vatroslav Belan, announced today that it is necessary that the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić, the Democratic Front (DF) and subjects inclined to them are deep in the opposition and as far as possible from influencing the EU processes.

I hope that in favor of the European perspective of Montenegro, the common goal of Montenegro and the EU - our membership, that number of EP deputies will very soon become a majority, if it is not already, said X Belan online, commenting on the statement Mandić that there are deputies in the European Parliament (EP) who do not speak favorably of him.
Earlier today, in a statement from the Parliament of Montenegro, in which it is stated that Mandić spoke by phone with the President of the European Parliament (EP) Roberta Metsola, they stated that Mandić pointed out the fact that there are certain MPs in the EP who do not speak favorably of him personally and that he accepts freedom of thought and such reality.
We need, says Belan, a new parliamentary majority and a new government, which will consist exclusively of truly pro-European and citizen-oriented subjects, and Andrija Mandić, the parties of the former DF and subjects inclined to them, deep in the opposition and as far as possible from influencing the EU processes.
"The strategists of the Serbian world have given them the task of hindering Montenegro's progress towards the EU whenever they can," Belan concluded.
