The Committee of Permanent Representatives of EU Member States (COREPER II) approved tonight the closing of three chapters in the negotiations between Montenegro and the EU.

These are chapters 7 (intellectual property law), 10 (information society and media) and 20 (entrepreneurship and industrial policy). Chapter 31 (foreign, security and defense policy) did not get the "green light" at COREPER II.

This was also published on the "X" account of the Hungarian EU Presidency.

According to the unofficial information of "Vijesti", the closure of Chapter 31 was blocked only by Croatia.

Podgorica has been negotiating with the EU since June 2012, and since then it has opened all chapters - 33 in total, and temporarily closed three.
