Milojko Spajić's government hires unprofessional and inexperienced friends, brothers, godfathers, party comrades, and expels those who are both expert and experienced, said Rozalina Ljuljđuraj, a member of the Initiative Committee of the Party of European Progress.
Among other things, she referred to the recent appointment of the acting chief of the secret police, Ivica Janović.
"The Montenegrin public found out, despite the Government's attempt to cover it up, that the person appointed by the Government as the Acting Director of the National Security Agency has neither a professional exam for working in state bodies, nor sufficient qualifications, nor experience to perform this responsible function. is that acceptable, then, according to the logic of the current government, could Milojko Spajić's government appoint me to the post of director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro or the Montenegrin National Theater? the new acting director of the ANB with the field of security. She could, regardless of my lack of expertise and experience in the field of security, on the condition that I am a member of PES, or that I belong to the circle of godfathers, sisters, daughters or close people eligible for such "presentations of power" ", it is written in the announcement.
"While Milojko Spajić's government hires unprofessional and inexperienced friends, brothers, godfathers, party comrades, it expels those who are both professional and experienced. I, with a master's degree in political science, an international certificate as a translator, many years of experience in translation, intercultural and social work, work in the Parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government, I was fired from my job in the General Secretariat of the Government during the mandate of this, the 44th Government, even though I did not make any mistake, omission or the like. On the contrary," she adds.
She says she was "rushed" only because she is not "eligible" and because she does not fit the "reigning selective meritocracy".
"I don't think that I am at a loss. On the contrary. I am a woman who speaks four languages, an Albanian who believes in the civic values of Montenegro, raised not to hate anyone. I am the mother of three children and I want this country to have a future, both for them three, as well as for all our children. In addition to all that, I am also an oncology patient, one of hundreds or thousands in Montenegro, who every time he goes for therapy, hopes that the machines will work and that the toilet in the hospital will be fixed .But, before after all, I am a citizen of this country who looks with pride at its flag and wants to see it in the European Union. I am afraid, however, that chapters 23, 24 and 31, crucial for the rule of law, will remain frozen despite all the populist projects and talk of "Bigger hills," said the SEP official.
"While the public is waiting for a legal and fair resolution of the Čečović-Vučurović case, it is crucial to ask: how far can political calculations go in suppressing the basic principles of justice and human rights? These cases in which the current government arrogantly appoints whoever it wants to responsible positions, and at the same time tries to cover up the attacks of patients on our children must not remain just events in a series of scandals, but must become a test for institutions," she added.
Ljuljđuraj says that institutions must show integrity, protect the legal system and put citizens ahead of political interests.
"If a fair and transparent outcome is not achieved in these two cases, citizens will receive a clear message: individual rights are sacrificed for political goals, and the balance between power and responsibility does not exist. That would be a defeat for all of us. The foundations of the actions of all branches of government must be our rights guaranteed by the Constitution - to equality before the law, to work, to respect for human rights, to a fair trial... Institutions and those who manage them are obliged to behave in this way regardless of political pressures. This is the only way we can show that as a society we strive for justice and to belong to Europe, this is the only way to get out of the circle of African and Asian despots into which these actions of the current government are dragging us," the announcement reads.
