If Netflix decides to shoot a new drug series, I am sure that Montenegro and everything that happened in the security sector during the former regime is a great basis for that, said Democratic Montenegro MP Momčilo Leković.
He added that Netflix could thus dedicate an entire season to Goran Stojanović, a man who, according to the Democratic MP, supplied cocaine to dealers instead of handcuffs, consulted with the mafia about arrests and sold his colleagues as if they were on sale.
"Unlike some other series, in Montenegro, as we can see, police officers and drug inspectors did not become criminals out of desperation, but out of pure enthusiasm for crime... There is enough material for at least three seasons of a crime drama by 2020. with the obligatory 'plot twist' - the inspector who fought against drugs was actually a classic criminal," said Leković in a statement sent to the media.

He pointed out that this was also the case in the cases of the "secret agent" Petar Lazović, the "great fighter" against organized crime Zoran Lazović and the "poor" policeman Ljub Milović.
"If the filming of the series really takes place, I suggest to the producers that the politicians of the former regime who criticize the current security sector, and who were not heard during the time of Zoran Lazović, be hired as expert consultants and extras for a complete 'authentic experience' in this Montenegrin drug crime series", concluded Leković.
