Prime Minister Milojko Spajić should study Newton's third law, announced the vice-president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and representative of the European Union, Amina Cikotić.
She was reacting to the fact that Spajić announced this morning that he will propose that the Europe Now Movement (PES), headed by him, does not form a majority to vote for a new judge to replace Judge Dragana Đuranović until the Constitutional Court decides on her case.
"As a sign of good and sincere will to calm tensions with the opposition - I will propose that PES does not form a majority to vote for a new judge to replace Judge Đuranović until the Constitutional Court has ruled on her case. Compromise builds the house," Spajić wrote in a post on Iks. .
Cikotić said that the only way to "normalize" things is for Spajić to retract the unconstitutionally adopted decision of the Constitutional Committee.
"We are not interested in your morning mood, but in the responsible management of the state, in accordance with the Constitution and the laws. And the Constitution was also violated by the will of deputies from your party, apparently with your blessing. The only way to make things 'normal' is to withdraw the unconstitutional decision of the Constitutional Committee," said Cikotić in a statement.
She added that "the malicious thesis, that the opposition should be blamed for (unnecessarily) raising tensions, will not pass".
"While you are trampling the Constitution and collapsing the state's legal system, we will not watch it silently. An insidious action causes a serious reaction," said Cikotić.
According to her, if the Prime Minister was responsible, as he is unfortunately not, this should not have happened.
"Skillful and dishonest 'extraction', apart from the fact that it doesn't make sense after you've done everything wrong, is an attempt to play with the intelligence of our citizens," says Cikotić.
It is clear, she states, that the shaky authorities in Podgorica and Budva are the real motive for such actions by Spajić.
"In any serious country, a responsible prime minister would withdraw from his position in shame and let the country develop normally. Since this will obviously not happen here, the reaction from the beginning of the story will lead to extraordinary parliamentary elections and the removal of the most irresponsible and harmful government and prime minister ever," concludes Cikotić.
