The latest events in the country indicate that the character of the current government is anti-Montenegrin and anti-European, assessed the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.
"Recent events in Montenegro unfortunately indicate that the dominant character of the current government is anti-Montenegrin and anti-European, and that it is reflected in anti-constitutional actions, glorification of retrograde ideologies, economic populism and the collapse of good-neighborly relations," said Milatović on the Ix platform.
He said that "us holders of the most responsible positions in the state" are returning to the past by their actions.
"Instead of focusing on reforms, European integration, building a rule of law and a society of equal opportunities - the irresponsible holders of the most responsible positions in the state are taking us back to the past every day with their actions," Milatović said.
