Independent MP Jevrosima Pejović announced tonight that the head of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) parliamentary club, Dejan Đurović, "sweared at her mother" today in the Parliament of Montenegro.
In a post on Facebook, she thanked NSD deputies Jovan Vučurović and Social Democrat Branislav Nenezić Korostim, who, as she stated, reacted and came to her protection while this was happening.
Today, during the session of the Assembly, Pejović approached the speaker in protest and asked the Speaker of the Assembly Andrija Mandić why she was ordered to be deprived of the floor. After that, the opposition MPs got up and headed towards Mandić, saying that she did not interfere with the work of the session during the prime minister's hour.
"I never read The Little Mermaid to the girls, because I teach them that a woman never gives up her voice. As you can easily see on the recordings from the previous session, I stood in my place, in the second row and did not take a single step towards I expected the President of the Assembly, who would not have been able to silence me, if I had not stood up for him a year ago, to at least look at the videos before punishing me colleagues from his party who congratulated me on Friday for complying with the Rules of Procedure. Also, it would be good if he had a word with the head of the parliamentary club, who cursed my mother. This really surprises me because the statistics say that such 'brave' men usually curse their father , in order to be in contact with the discarded parts of their own personality. I use the opportunity to thank my colleagues Vučurović and Nenezić who reacted and stood up for me while this was happening," she wrote Pejović on Facebook.
She pointed out that today it was also possible to see that when they cannot believe a woman's intelligence, ability and morals, they try to declare her crazy.
"Some colleagues on their social networks tried to present my normal reaction to an abnormal reign of terror as a psychological imbalance. I guess because it is not appropriate for a woman to shout and fight for herself when she is being punished and denied the right to work because of a 'parliamentary service error'. It is interesting. that they never condemn the vandalism and the rush of testosterone that we can witness every now and then and psychotherapy and that I have measured my knowledge on the labor market. I will return to that wonderful profession after, among other things, I have made sure that women in Montenegro do not remain silent. They probably have no place outside of party engagement, so they think that everything is allowed in politics ".
Pejović also said that as a psychologist and psychotherapist, she has a lifelong obligation to check her mental health.
"In other words, I have it in writing that everything is fine with my mental health, which those who have never visited one of my colleagues can't really claim. That's probably why they call them, because the unconscious speaks much more than the conscious. I just imagined how I would feel if I didn't have that kind of empirical support, and how do all those loud women feel who, because of their attitude and fight against injustice, like me today, the president of the parliament, to 'rule themselves' is the biggest impression of today's working day and I will devote myself to this topic in my future political work. And finally, imagine that you go to your workplace where you find out that the manager has punished you for no reason, prevents you from speaking, where a colleague cursing the mother, and others that you are crazy, because you want to do your job. My job is to speak, and the employer is the citizens. And so that no one should experience this in their workplace, I will fight with all available means. women from the karst," concluded Pejović.
