The new mayor of Podgorica will be Saša Mujović, and the president of the Capital City Assembly will be Jelena Borovinić Bojović.

That is the epilogue of tonight's negotiations between the Movement for Podgorica and the coalition PES-Democrats and For the Future of Podgorica.

The deputy mayor will be Nađa Ljiljanić, as well as another Democrat whose name will be announced tomorrow.

Borovinić Bojović said that Podgorica will have a new government "which will be better than the current one".

When asked by a journalist whether GP URA will be part of the government, Borovinić Bojović said that she will not participate in the government and that they have left that issue to the Movement for Podgorica.

"I am glad that we have agreed and that we can announce that Podgorica will get a new government, that I will be a worthy mayor of Podgorica. I can give myself space to rejoice, and tomorrow we have to think about new moves and how to fulfill the promises we made they did," Mujović said after the meeting.

Ljiljanić said that "Podgorica deserves better".

"We will do our best to achieve everything we promised. We have not yet discussed any functions other than pochitika," she said.

Negotiations between the Movement for Podgorica and the coalition PES-Democrats and For the Future of Podgorica continued tonight.

The meeting was attended by Nađa Ljiljanić, Miloš Krstović, Drago Šundić and Dragutin Vučinić in front of the Movement for Podgorica.

The PES-Democrats coalition was represented by the list holder Saša Mujović, Minister of Justice Bojan Božović and Minister of the Interior Danilo Saranović.

In addition to Borovinić Bojović, the meeting was attended by the ZBPG coalition, the director of Putev Radoš Zečević from the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) and the official of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Vladimir Bulatović.

Although the Movement for Podgorica (PzPG) close to the head of state, Jakov Milatović, a week ago was allegedly closer to forming a government in the capital with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and the rest of the opposition, as of last night, there are better chances that they will do so with parties from the state level.
