The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić, said that the meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, "is a fraternal meeting of great importance for strengthening relations between the two closest countries in the region."
The two held a meeting in Mojkovac, which was attended by the president of that municipality, Vesko Delić.
"The President of the Assembly expressed his satisfaction regarding today's meeting on the day when we celebrate Christmas and the anniversary of the famous Mojkovac battle. He added that this fraternal meeting is of great importance for strengthening relations between the two closest countries in the region - Serbia and Montenegro, and for better We must build a common future on the basis of a healthy economy, cooperation at all levels and better infrastructure connectivity," the Parliament of Montenegro announced.
It is added that they discussed numerous projects of the Municipality of Mojkovac, primarily the Memorial Center dedicated to the Battle of Mojkovac, as well as the replica complex of the medieval town of Brskov.
It is also reported that Mandić and Vucevic discussed capital infrastructure projects - the Bar-Belgrade highway, the reconstruction of the Belgrade-Bar railway in Montenegro, as well as the valorization of the Port of Bar in the coming period.
"The interlocutors agreed that the construction of the section that would connect Andrijevica and Duga Poljane would preferably be presented at an international tender as a joint project of Montenegro and Serbia," the announcement reads.
