The leader of "Movement for the City" Đorđe Zenović announced today that the councilors of that movement will no longer attend the sessions of the Municipal Assembly (SO Budva).

Today's session, which was full of constant obstructions and pauses caused by both opposing groups, is over for us, even though it has not even begun. the citizens of Budva do not deserve the scenes, and the agony has no end, judging by what we see at the beginning of the mandate of the new convocation. At the entrance to the hall of the Municipal Assembly (SO) of Budva today, there was almost a physical confrontation between the holder of the list "For the future of Budva" Mladen Mikijelj and the holder of the list "Budva our city" Nikola Jovanović.

This happened after councilors and supporters of the coalition "For the Future of Budva", Democratic Montenegro and PES entered the hall of the Council of Ministers after a five-minute push with security.
These three political groups and their sympathizers do not allow the Budva Council session to take place because the chairman of today's session and the oldest member of the council, Savo Medigović, who was elected from the "Budva our city" list, submitted his resignation, which he withdrew after 20 minutes.
They say that Medigović can no longer preside over the SO Budva, but that it belongs to Krsto Rađenović from the Socialist People's Party (SNP).
Member of the coalition "For the Future of Budva" Bojana Pićan was injured, as they claim in that coalition, the security forces injured her hand.
It is expected that if there is a session of the Budva Council of Ministers, Petar Odžić from the European Union will be proposed as the head of the local parliament.
As told to Vijesti, the proposal for Odžić to be the head of the parliament was signed by the councilors of "Budva naš grad", the European Union and the URA, which number 12 councilors.
In order for it to be voted, they must receive the support of, most likely, seven councilors of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
