In the presence of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Dragana Kažanegra Stanišić, persons of security interest (BIL) broke into the assembly hall of the Municipality of Budva and intimidated councilors in order not to prevent political changes in accordance with the will of the citizens, announced the Civic Movement (GP) URA.
From that party, they said that "the chaos in the country continues, and the institutions once again show that they are completely powerless to establish order and ensure the safety of the citizens."
They state that persons "known to the police from their records", together with related persons, broke into the Municipality building and the Budva Municipality Assembly Hall by force, breaking the doors and windows.
"With their illegal actions, they made it impossible to hold the scheduled session, and the Police Directorate passively observes this chaos for hours, thereby further endangering security and trust in the institutions of the system," reads the announcement of the GP URA.
They emphasize that this kind of behavior confirms that Budva "urgently needs a new city administration, which will put an end to such instabilities and ensure legality and order".
The General Assembly of URA pointed out that the citizens of Budva in the elections "clearly voted for changes and for the political parties of the government to go from the state level to the opposition".
They appealed to all competent institutions to take responsibility and react urgently in order to ensure order and security in Budva.
"Budva needs a stable and responsible administration, dedicated to the further development of the capital of tourism, in the interest of all its citizens," concluded the GP URA.
