The holder of the list "For the future of Budva" Mladen Mikijelj announced that Nikola Jovanović's sympathizers stormed the office of the President of the Municipality of Budva with weapons.
"And at the same time, they are calling us names because of the desire to preserve the electoral will of the citizens of Budva," he added.
In a post on Facebook, he said that he was shocked, "like all citizens, that councilors who defected from our parties today are trying to change with a coalition with an organized criminal group that attacked the Church".
He said that today Budva experienced another humiliation, "the latest in a series carried out by Nikola Jovanović and his followers, as well as new and old partners from DPS - SDP".
"Citizens of Budva, Nikola Jovanović has been carrying out legal and physical violence for months. It all started with the expulsion of the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva, when he and 30 other criminals occupied the president's office and insulted those who disagreed with him in a vulgar and primitive manner. I remind you that then the Ministry of Public Administration announced that all moves and actions surrounding his election were illegal, but that did not stop him from continuing with illegal actions, to the dismay of the majority of citizens of Budva. Today, the usurpation of power by the new coalition gathered around Nikola Jovanović and OKG DPS is at work again," Mikijelj pointed out.
He said that first, "uninvited persons from the citizens' group 'Budva naš grad', on his order, invaded the session and exerted constant pressure on the councilors".
"The peak of the lawlessness happened in the afternoon when Savo Medigović, the oldest councilor, resigned in order to save his face. However, on the orders of Nikola Jovanović and a suspicious group supported by the DPS and previously convicted persons, Medigović was forced to give it up and to try to withdraw his resignation illegally, which is a precedent in the history of the Budva parliament, which surpasses all the Džakovićs and Pajovićs that Montenegro has ever seen on the order of the illegally appointed Jovanović, whose election was deemed illegal by the competent ministry, the Secretariat of the Assembly was not allowed to forward Medigović's resignation to the competent MEC, which is why criminal charges will soon be filed," Mikijelj said.
He said that members of the coalition "For the Future of Budva" have been fighting against crime and corruption "personified by SDP and DPS" for decades.
"We believed that the year 2020 and the betrayal of the voters could never happen again, but today Jovanović, the latest traitor of the will of the voters, tried to implement it, with vulgar insults and violence. I called not to violate the election result, and Jovanović threatened and insulted I called for a fraternal and honest agreement, so that we don't hate each other but come to an honest agreement, and Jovanović explained tonight that his path is the same as the path of the Democratic Party socialists. I called for Jovanović, DPS and SDP to end their violence, and tonight they physically attacked our female councilors and seriously injured the youngest of us, Bojana Pićan, thus repeating the violence from December against the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva," he said.
