The attempts of the Civil Movement (GP) URA to justify the betrayal of Nikola Jovanović and accuse Dragana Kažanegra Stanišić of violence and chaos in Budva represent a shameful attempt to manipulate the public by people who allegedly fought against the DPS, but were constantly in secret dealings with them. they said from the Budva Municipal Board of Democratic Montenegro.
Their statement that "persons of security interest" (PIL) broke into the Parliament Hall with the presence of the state secretary, the Democrats add, is nothing more than a cheap attempt to divert attention from the fact that they are the ones who support Nikola Jovanović, in whose cabinet BIL persons sit.
"It is not news that the GP URA and their partners accepted that they were being ordered from Spuž. This became clear a long time ago, and now it is only confirmed through their actions and attempts to devalue the will of the citizens of Budva and to be manipulated by Milo Božović, one of the executors of the most serious crimes in the field of organized crime and corruption. This is no wonder, considering that they publicly declared that he was one of the most capable public officials," the Democrats said in a statement sent to the media.
They say that the citizens of Budva did not vote for GP URA to now watch how this party turns into a tool for political blackmail, betrayal and manipulation.
"It seems that GP URA forgets who are really behind the chaos in Budva - those who broke their promises and turned against the will of the people in order to realize their own interests.
While GP URA appeals to the competent institutions to ensure order and security, the truth is that it is they, together with Jovanovic, who are bringing instability and chaos to Budva. Their support for such a man is shameful and shows how far they are willing to go for a handful of power.
The citizens of Budva made their point clear in the elections. GP URA and their partners like Nikola Jovanović should respect that will instead of trying to forcibly change it through political intrigue and pressure. This kind of behavior will not go unnoticed, nor will it be forgotten by the people of Budva," the statement concludes.
