The session of the Committee on Security and Defense, at which the report on the Committee's work for the past year will be discussed, is scheduled for January 27, said the chairman of that parliamentary body, Miodrag Laković.
He stated on Platform X that he scheduled the session in order to agree on the dynamics of work related to issues burdening the security sector.
"I have scheduled a meeting of the Committee for January 27th to consider the Committee's work report for last year, as well as to agree on the dynamics and methods of work regarding other important issues that burden the security sector and require quality and systematic work by the Committee," said Laković.
He said that he hopes that opposition representatives will participate in the session and provide constructive contributions to what is their legal and procedural obligation.
"And that is oversight of the work of services in the security and defense sector," Laković added.
