The net salary of the Prime Minister, seven Deputy Prime Ministers and their 29 advisors was 55.405 euros from the budget in December, which amounts to around 664.870 euros annually.
If the amended Law on Salaries in the Public Sector is adopted and enters into force this year, that figure will be higher, given that the draft law of the government plans to increase salaries by 30 percent through an increase in coefficients for calculating salaries for all public officials. This will, if the Parliament adopts the law, cost citizens 8,5 million euros annually.
Following the government reshuffle in July last year, the number of vice-presidents was increased by three (to a total of seven), who currently have 29 advisors. Five new ministries were also introduced, as well as a minister without portfolio.
According to data for December last year, published on the Government's website, the Prime Minister Milojko Spajic received 2.035 euros last month, and his eight advisors received a total of 13.898 euros. Their earnings range up to 1.600 euros.
In addition to advisors, Spajić also has a chief of staff. Branka Krvavac, who received 1.496 euros last month.
The 2025 budget for the Prime Minister's Office is planned at 1,2 million euros, about 100 thousand euros more than for 2024.
The amount planned for gross salaries is around 880 thousand euros, 30 thousand euros more than last year's budget.
According to government data, 13.372 euros were spent on the net earnings of the Deputy Prime Minister in December last year.
The Deputy Prime Ministers are Aleksa Becic (for security, defense, fight against crime and internal policy), Momo Koprivica (for political system, judiciary and anti-corruption), Nick Djelosaj (for economic policy), Budimir Aleksic (for education, science and relations with religious communities), Ervin Ibrahimovic (for international relations), Filip Ivanovic (for foreign and European affairs) i Milun Zogović (for infrastructure and regional development).
The highest net earnings last month were achieved by Ibrahimović and Aleksić, who received 2.062 and 2.055 euros, respectively.
Bečić received 1.848 euros last month, Koprivica 1.860, Đeljošaj 1.961, Ivanović 1.781 and Zogović 1.805 euros.
The Democratic Party leader, as Deputy Prime Minister, has five advisors, for whose salaries 6.367 euros were allocated last month.
Bečić's party colleague Koprivica also has five advisors, who received a total of 6.774 euros in December.
The leader of the Albanian Alternative, Gheljosaj, who is also the Minister of Economic Development, has three advisors as vice president, whose December salaries totaled 3.868 euros.
Bosniak Party leader Ibrahimović, who is also the foreign minister, has three advisors as deputy prime minister. His advisors received a total of 3.802 euros last month.
Budimir Aleksić (New Serbian Democracy) has two advisors, whose net earnings in December totaled 2.483 euros.
Milun Zogović (Democratic People's Party) also has two advisors, for whose December salaries 2.806 euros were spent.
Filip Ivanović (PES), as Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, has one advisor, whose December salary was 853 euros.
Nikolić and associates received a total of 5.619 euros
Secretary General of the Government Dragoljub Nikolić received a net salary of 1.715 euros in December, and his deputy Irena Vućić Popović received 1.556 euros. Acting Assistant to the Secretary General of the Government Almedina Vukić received a net salary of 1.249 euros last month, and Acting Head of the Office for Sustainable Development in the Secretariat General of the Government Milena Mijović received 1 euros.
Minister without portfolio, in charge of relations with the Parliament, Milutin Butorović, received 1.737 euros in December, and the representative of Montenegro before the European Court of Human Rights, Katarina Peković, received 3.812 euros.
