The Ministry of Public Administration announced that it expects the Government to set a new date for the Budva Municipal Assembly session by January 27th.
That resource stated in a statement that the public is concerned, and that the media is rightly interested in convening a session of the Budva Municipal Assembly.
"We remind you that on January 16, 2025, immediately after the supervision, the Ministry of Public Administration submitted to the Government of Montenegro Information on the situation in the Budva Municipal Assembly regarding the holding of the first session of the newly elected Assembly, in accordance with Article 39 of the Law on Local Self-Government, with a proposal to convene the session for January 23, 2025. As the Government has not yet decided on the aforementioned Information with the proposal for convening, we expect that the Government will change the proposed conclusions in terms of deadlines, and set a new date for the session of the Budva Municipal Assembly within the legal deadline, i.e. by January 27," the Ministry of Public Administration said in a statement.
