By deciding to schedule the session of the Budva Municipal Assembly (MA) the day before the deadline, the ruling majority has shown that it intends to prevent the formation of a government in that city, according to the European Union.
Last night, the government scheduled a session of the Budva Municipal Assembly for February 11th, during a telephone session, with the election of the speaker of the local parliament on the agenda.
European Union official Amina Cikotić said that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said "yes, let's prevent a peaceful transition of power."
"By deciding to schedule the Budva Municipal Assembly session a day before the deadline, the ruling majority has shown its unscrupulous and corrupt intention to prevent the formation of a government in Budva," said Cikotić.
According to her, after the Democratic Front's (DF) attempt at legal violence failed with the Minister of Public Administration, Maraš Dukaj, they came up with a new idea to schedule the Municipal Assembly session in this way and thus prevent the formation of a new government in Budva.
"Their logic is clear: either the DF and their satellites in power, or no one. The intention is clear, but it will not pass. Not now, not in the future. Violence, blackmail, or pressure have not passed, and this will not pass either. The government in Budva will be formed on February 11," said Cikotić.
She added that with this move, the masks fell.
"And one more thing is clear: with this move, the masks have fallen, it is now clear to everyone that the Europe Now Movement = DF," concluded Cikotić.
