"I call on the parliament to adopt the budget by tomorrow," said Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić this morning.
"Let's send parliamentarians who love the podium and blockades on a few days of undeserved rest. We are for dialogue and compromise - but due to the termination of Judge Đuranović's mandate (who took a substantial fee), thousands of pensioners will be left with no money for heating and food and can no longer wait for their mercy as if it were a mirage," Spajić wrote on the social network X.
He said that former Constitutional Court judge Dragana Đuranović did not appeal to any court (domestic, Constitutional or Strasbourg).
"The opposition Soviet Union refuses to consult the Venice Commission or any other EU/Council of Europe institution. Judge Đuranović took a severance pay. The Judicial Council has had the same practice that it has been implementing for years. The procedure that was 'violated' implies that judges vote for the termination of their mandate - the biggest conflict of interest on the planet. We have shown that we are understanding and have tried in every way to reach a compromise, but it is obvious that someone has an interest in stopping pensions, investments, as well as the EU path. Such an attitude must not be tolerated," Spajić stated.
