Andrija Klikovac, a member of the Democratic Party of Socialists in the Capital City Assembly, said that the Capital City administration plans to increase the prices of services provided by the city companies Čistoća and Deponija, and asked whether Prime Minister Milojko Spajić would call on citizens to boycott paying for their services.
He alluded to Spajić's support for the boycott of retail chains the previous week.
"After PES in Podgorica increased water prices by 41 percent, they are now planning to increase the prices of Cleaning and Landfill services in the coming months.
"Will Milojko Spajić call on the citizens of Podgorica to boycott paying for the services of these companies that are increasing prices due to the Europe Now program?" Klikovac wrote on the social network Iks.
Yesterday, Social Democrat councilor in the Capital City Assembly Miloš Mašković announced that Nadja Liljanić, Deputy Mayor of Podgorica, had announced an increase in the price of garbage collection by Čistoća and asked why citizens "should pay for the irresponsible management and poor planning of a man during whose mandate the city was the dirtiest in its recent history."
