The blockade of the roundabout at Capital Plaza in Podgorica has ended, and organizers from the informal student group "Kamo Śutra" announced that tomorrow (Wednesday, February 5) they will block the bridge on Ribnica, above the Karver bookstore.

The informal student group "Kamo Śutra" is organizing road blockades in Podgorica and "23 minutes of noise" in protest of unfulfilled demands following the tragedy in Cetinje.

Anastasija Martinović from the group "Kamo Śutra" told reporters after tonight's blockade that it passed peacefully and with dignity.

"This blockade went better than the previous one. We hope that we will win over as many young people as possible day by day, because they need to come to these protests," said Martinović.

She thanked everyone who supported them tonight and invited them to join them tomorrow at the blockade of the bridge above Karver.

This evening, the citizens of Cetinje also blocked the roundabout at the entrance to the city, in support of the students who are blocking roads in Podgorica and demanding accountability for the mass murders committed in the Royal Capital.

During the blockade on Monday, the informal group "Kamo Śutra" announced that they would continue their protests until their demands were met.

Students are demanding the dismissal of the Minister of Interior Danilo Šaranović and the Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Aleksa Bečić, and more prompt and proactive action by the competent institutions regarding the issue of weapons possession.

Their demands also relate to the return of civic education as a mandatory subject in all primary and secondary schools and to improving the institutional approach to mental health care.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, in response to the demands of the "Kamo Śutra?" group, said that all members of the Government are subject to change, after an evaluation of their work and a detailed analysis of their performance.

After that, student representatives said that their demand was no longer for the resignations of Šaranović and Bečić, but for their dismissals.

On January 1, Cetinje resident Aco Martinović killed 12 people, including two children, and wounded four, one of whom died on January 9 at the Clinical Center.
