A group of citizens in Bar blocked the intersection in the city center, on Jovana Tomaševića Street, in front of the Department Store at 17:26 PM in support of the informal student group "Kamo śutra".
This is the third road blockade under the slogan "23 minutes of noise" organized by the people of Bar and called for by local activists via social media.
As on the previous two occasions, police provided security for this gathering, closing two streets and directing traffic to side roads.
Yesterday, the roundabout at the Željeznica River bridge, between the center and Šušanj, was blocked, and the day before that, the intersection will be blocked again today.
As they previously announced, the blockades are being organized in support of the students gathered around the "Kamo śutra" initiative and as an appeal to fulfill their demands.
The informal group of students "Kamo śutra" announced that they will block traffic in Podgorica today near the "Maxim" building (corner of Moskovska and Bulevar Svetog Petra Cetinjskog), and blockades have also been announced in other Montenegrin cities.
On January 1, Cetinje resident Aco Martinović killed 12 people, including two children, and wounded four, one of whom died on January 9 at the Clinical Center.
