When we proposed projects for the 2025 Budget, we were guided by the principle that public money must serve citizens, not privileged individuals, said Anđela Vojinović, MP from the Democratic Montenegro Party, today.

"Our goal was clear - for every euro to be directed where it is most needed, to correct long-standing injustices and for citizens to feel concrete changes in their everyday lives. We particularly insisted on the balanced development of all Montenegrin municipalities. In this context, Nikšić, as the largest municipality, has special significance. And that is why, through three amendments, in addition to the adaptation of the Children's Dispensary and other projects from the capital budget, I have provided additional funds that, along with the dedicated work of the city administration, will contribute to the further development of our city," Vojinović emphasized in a statement.

She added that the first project concerns the continuation of the construction of Jezerski put street - the busiest road during the summer months, which leads to Lake Krupac.

"The second project includes the reconstruction of a part of the local road Donje Crkvica - Gornje Crkvica - border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the section where there used to be a border crossing. The reconstruction of this road would greatly facilitate the daily life of the residents of these villages, especially in terms of access to health services. The third project involves the development of project documentation for Straševska, Željeznička and Stubička streets in Kličevo, one of the largest urban areas of Nikšić. This settlement has two kindergartens and a school, and continues to face inadequate infrastructure. I submitted this amendment with the aim of solving a decades-old problem and enabling a dignified life for everyone who lives there," said Vojinović.

According to her, Nikšić, with the support of its citizens and the hard work and dedication of the local government, will continue to strengthen and develop in a direction that corresponds to its historical and economic importance.
