Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić announced that Montenegrin state policy regarding the genocide in Srebrenica is clear, and that the Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandić congratulated the unconstitutional Republika Srpska Day on his own behalf.

Spajić said in the show "Investigation of the Week" on Hayat television that he does not know what his agenda will be in July, when the 30th anniversary of the genocide is being marked, but that he is certain "that he will find time in the future."

"Every year we have a delegation at the highest level. I was not able to come. I don't know my agenda for July, but I am sure I will find time in the future. I have no problem with recognizing genocide. The position of the state of Montenegro is clear. The Parliament has adopted the Resolution twice. We supported the Resolution at the UN. No nation is genocidal. It is individuals who did it and must be held accountable. We must look to the past and condemn things from the past so that we do not have a burden on our shoulders. Without historical burdens, we can step forward," said Spajić.

Speaking about Mandić's congratulatory message, Spajić said that in communication with the Speaker of the Parliament, he understood that this was the party position of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD).

"They are part of a Serbian political corps. We have no problem with the fact that parties represent a bridge. We need to turn to the things that unite us. A civic Montenegro and one that will bow to every victim will turn to the future. We are in favor of cooperation in the region. It is important that as a state we have a clear position. We condemn all crimes. We are turned to the future," said Spajić.

He pointed out that Montenegrins are proud to be from the Balkans, and he also reflected on Montenegro's path towards the European Union.

"We are proud of our mentality. We are convinced that this is the added value we bring to the European Union. A person from the Balkans is a very hardworking, very smart, loyal and reliable worker. There is great potential in the Balkans. We do not have an absolute majority in our country. It is a beautiful diversity of ethnic and religious character that gives wealth to Montenegro. The clans of Montenegro that are known in Europe cannot invest. All of these people will be arrested sooner or later. We had almost 100 people in the police who collaborated with criminal clans," said Spajić.
