Laketić: It is now clear that Mojkovac is the last hole on the pipe for Spajić, Mandić and Bečić

Laketić pointed out that the Capital Budget for 2025 did not include funds for the continuation of the construction of the "Žarski" ski resort or the construction of the local road Polje - Sinjajevina.

For the current government at the state level, led by Spajić, Mandić and Bečić, Mojkovac is the last straw - this can be stated after the adoption of the 2025 Budget in the Parliament of Montenegro, said Boško Laketić, president of the Mojkovac municipal board of the Civic Movement URA and councilor in the Mojkovac Municipal Assembly.

"After the shameful 2025 Budget Proposal of the Spajić Government, where only crumbs were found for projects related to the territory of the Mojkovac municipality, representatives of local government parties made efforts and proposed numerous amendments through deputies in the Parliament of Montenegro to the Budget Proposal. However, in the end, most of these amendments, which would have significantly improved the situation when it comes to the implementation of projects of importance for the development of Mojkovac, were not adopted," he pointed out.

Laketić pointed out that the Capital Budget for 2025 did not include funds for the continuation of the construction of the "Žarski" ski resort, which, by installing a cable car, would connect the "Cmiljača" ski resort with that ski center, nor funds for the construction of the local road Polje - Sinjajevina (Ckara katun), with the aim of continuing the creation of the Sinjajevina ring in the territory of the Mojkovac municipality, which was proposed by the GP URA parliamentary group.

He also points out that, after the devastating announcement by the Spajić Government that it was abandoning the construction of a prison in Mojkovac, the Budget did not include funds for the rehabilitation and construction of the Mojkovac - Slatina road, which is in a catastrophic state, unsuitable for the 21st century.

Laketić adds that there are no funds for two projects that would greatly revive the cultural, historical and tourist offer of Mojkovac, namely the construction of a replica of medieval Brskovo and the Memorial Center of the Battle of Mojkovac.

"This attitude of the state authorities towards Mojkovac is not surprising, because citizens have the opportunity to witness the false promises of Prime Minister Spajić and his entourage every day, but it is surprising why Mojkovac residents who occupy some of the most important positions in government, such as the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić, have no feelings towards the city they come from. In the end, we can only rely solely on our own capacities and, at the level of local self-government, try to correct what can be corrected," said the president of the Mojkovac board of the GP URA.

He concluded that it was inevitable that the people of Mojkovac would know how to punish the parties of the parliamentary majority at the state level for such a poor attitude towards their city.
