New Serbian Democracy MP and councilor of that party in the Budva parliament, Bojana Pićan, proposed today to the President of the Budva Municipal Assembly, Petar Odžić, and the councilors' clubs to expand the Work Program for 2025 with a collective visit to the Spusk Prison in the third quarter of 2025.
In the letter, which Vijesti had access to, she unequivocally attacks the President of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, stating:
"Given that Spuž was previously the workplace of the mayor, Mr. Jovanović, I believe that he could take on the role of head of the delegation during this visit."
She explained to "Vijesti" that it is obvious that, with the formation of the DPS - SDP - "Budva our city" coalition led by Nikola Jovanović, the leadership of the Budva Municipality was relocated from Budva to Danilovgrad, to the prison in Spuž.
"It has become clear to all citizens of Budva and Montenegro that the unnatural coalition, formed contrary to the electoral will of the citizens, was actually agreed upon in the Spuž prison and has nothing to do with the intentions of the people of Budva. I can freely say that, from the end of January, Zoran Lazović, Milivoj Katnić and other detainees from Spuž who are interested in putting Budva under their clutches so that it becomes a mechanism in a dangerous network of international drug trafficking and other crime will be consulted for their opinions. If it was not clear to anyone until now, now everything has been revealed," claims Pićan.
In her speech, she praised Odžić, but also harshly attacked Nikola Jovanović for his practice of not consulting the opposition, or, as she claims, the position, for any decision.
In her letter to Odžić, Pićan pointed out that, apparently, even during the time when Jasna Dokić was in charge of the Budva Municipality, the real boss was Nikola Jovanović, as she states: "...His experience would significantly contribute to the seriousness and efficiency of our delegation."
