Montenegrin MPs have spent a total of around 2023 thousand euros on travel since the current parliamentary term was constituted, from July 362 until the end of last year, according to data obtained by ''Vijesti'' from the parliament.
For MPs' travel in 2023, from July to the end of December, 10.263 euros were allocated from the parliamentary budget, and 352.101 euros for the entire last year.
The first trip of the President of the Assembly Andrije Mandić (NSD), since he took office, has been in Budapest, where he participated in the meeting of the presidents of parliaments of Southeast Europe from 16 to 19 November 2023. His travel expenses amounted to 199 euros, accommodation was paid for by the organizer, and he waived his daily allowance.
He then traveled to Turkey (Ankara), where he participated in the World TRT (Turkish Radio and Television) Forum and the Seventh Istanbul Summit from 6 to 10 December 2023. The Assembly did not have any expenses for his trip, as he waived his daily allowance and there were no other expenses.
The highest travel expense in 2023 was Abaz Dizdarević (DPS) who was in Moldova (Chisinau) from 7 to 9 December 2023 at a conference on the role of the European Integration Committee. His travel expenses amounted to 905 euros, of which 399,48 euros were for transportation, 350 euros for accommodation, and 155,61 euros for daily allowances.
To the deputies of the Bosniak Party (BS) Ervin Ibrahimović i Damir Gutić, who are now ministers, the first trip in the new parliamentary term was to Hanover, to attend a ceremonial academy on the occasion of November 20th, Sandžak Day.
Gutić was also in Hanover at the ceremonial academy on the occasion of November 25 - Statehood Day of BiH. He was there from November 30 to December 2, 2023, which cost the Parliament of Montenegro a total of 584,33 euros (460,57 euros for airline tickets and 123,76 euros for daily allowances).
Ibrahimović was in Hanover from November 29 to December 4, which cost a total of 628,91 euros (323,15 euros for plane tickets and 305,76 for daily allowances).
The first trip for the 12 MPs in the new Parliament was to Brussels, where they visited the European institutions from 28 November to 1 December 2023. They then visited the EU capital Artan Chobi (Albanian forum), Sladjana Kaluđerović (SNP), Miodrag Laković (PES), Boris Mugoša (SD), Ana Novaković Đurović (GP URA), Mirsad Nurković (B.S.), Jevrosima Pejović (Special Club of Deputies), Zdenka Popović (Democrats), Slaven Radunović (NSD), Ivan Vukovic (DPS), Adrian Vuksanovic (HGI) i Milun Zogović (DNP). Travel costs (transportation and per diem, there were no accommodation costs) amounted to 608 to 618 euros per MP, or a total of about 7,3 thousand euros for the 12 of them.
Mandić traveled to Belgrade three times, Brussels twice
Mandić made 12 official trips last year, costing a total of 6.252 euros (he did not take per diem). He went to Belgrade three times - for the ceremony marking the Serbian Statehood Day (February 15-16), then for a working visit on March 28, and an official visit on October 21 and 22.
He was in Brussels twice (in February and December), and also traveled to Vienna, Palma de Mallorca (to the conference of presidents of the parliaments of EU member states), Braga, Rabat (Morocco), Valletta, Stockholm and Rome.
Vice President of the Assembly Nikola Camaj (Albanian Forum) had 15 official trips last year, most by government representatives.
Last year, he traveled to Strasbourg three times, Paris twice, Braga, Copenhagen, Srebrenica, Vlora, Riga, Budapest, Athens, Montreal (the 70th anniversary of the NATO PA session) and Barcelona. He went to Budva on official business. His trips cost a total of 15.868 euros.
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Zdenka Popović (Democrats) had 11 official trips, which cost a total of 11.447 euros. She traveled to Davos, Athens, Berlin, Srebrenica, Reykjavik, Brussels, Washington (participation in the 10th annual Forum for Intelligence and Security Cooperation), then to Kotor, Herceg Novi, Kolašin and Tivat.
Vice President of the Assembly Mirsad Nurković, who was elected to the position in August last year, had five official trips: to Rabat (Morocco), Berlin, Luxembourg, Rome and Petrovac. His trips cost around 5,2 thousand euros.
Vice President of the Assembly Boris Pejović (PES) had two official trips last year, to Strasbourg and Vienna, which cost 2,9 thousand euros.
Pejović, Camaj and Nedović traveled the most
Of the MPs, Jevrosima Pejović traveled the most. She recorded 18 official trips last year, which cost a total of 24.594 euros.
Pejović spent half of March last year on official trips (Bruges, Geneva, Tivat and Athens), as well as about 20 days in November (Washington, Reykjavik, Brussels, Doha).
After Pejović and Camaj, she had the most official trips last year Jelena Nedović, a total of 14. Nedović traveled to Baku, Vienna, Tirana, Herceg Novi, Kotor, Lisbon, Kolašin, Bucharest, Srebrenica, Stavanger (Norway), Budva, Dublin, Tashkent, and Reykjavik. Her travel, per diems, and accommodation cost 11.501 euros.
Amer Smailovic (BS) has been on 13 official trips, which cost 10.263 euros. Last year, he traveled to Baku, Madrid, Tirana, Lisbon, Bratislava, Bucharest, Stavanger, Budva, Dublin, Berlin, Tashkent, Ashgabat and Sarajevo.
Former MP, now Minister of Transport Maja Vukićević (DNP) had 12 official trips as a parliamentarian. Last year she traveled three times to Strasbourg and twice to Paris, then to Washington (Prayer Breakfast), Tivat, Athens, Oslo, Kotor, Kolašin, Herceg Novi. Her trips cost 13.119 euros.
She was also a member of parliament for New Serbian Democracy on 12 official trips, Jelena BožovićShe was in Strasbourg, Brussels, Geneva, New York, Belgrade... The Assembly allocated 13.198 euros for her travels.
They each had ten official trips last year. Dusko Stjepović i Anđela Vojinović (Democrats), as well as Nikola Zirojevic (SD).
Stjepović was in Trieste, Brussels, Bruges, Tallinn, Rome, Sofia, Washington (NATO Parliamentary Assembly), Warsaw and Montreal (70th anniversary of the NATO PA session). His trips cost a total of 17.261 euros.
14.440 euros were allocated for Vojinović's official trips (Strasbourg, Brussels, New York, Budapest, Reykjavik, Pljevlja, Nikšić, Herceg Novi, Tivat).
Zirojević made official trips to Warsaw, Tirana, Sarajevo, Bruges, Ljubljana, Brussels, Berlin, Budva, Yerevan... for which 4.497 euros were allocated.
Stojović's travels cost the Parliament 19 thousand euros
For nine official trips of PES deputies Gordan Stojović Last year, 19.406 euros were allocated, the most after Jevrosima Pejović, who had twice as much.
Last year, Stojović traveled to Geneva twice, then to Rabat, Madrid, Rome, New York (Parliamentary Forum within the UN High Political Forum), Buenos Aires (visit to the legislative houses in Argentina), Tbilisi and Istanbul.

Eraković stayed in Washington from November 1 to 9 last year as part of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly observation mission, which cost the Montenegrin Parliament 2.039 euros (transportation 1.138 euros, accommodation costs 170, daily allowances 730 euros).
For two official trips Dritan Abazović The Assembly paid 4.570 euros. He was in London from October 30 to November 2 at a symposium (which one was not specified) which cost 2.320 euros (transportation about 860 euros, accommodation about 1,2 thousand and daily allowances 202 euros. Abazović attended the European Prayer Breakfast in Brussels from December 2 to 4 which cost the Assembly 2.249 euros (accommodation 1.734 euros, transport 312, daily allowances 203 euros).
Admir Adrović (BS) was on seven business trips that cost around 13 thousand euros.
