Deputy Prime Minister for European and Foreign Affairs, Filip Ivanović, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, participated in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in Paris, France, which was held on February 10th and 11th.

As announced by the Government, the event, organized under the auspices of Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, brought together world leaders, representatives of international organizations, scientists, business entities, as well as experts in the field of artificial intelligence.

This was an opportunity to further emphasize the need for joint efforts in implementing security standards and transparent procedures, in order to ensure the protection of citizens and the stable development of the digital economy," it was announced.

At the summit, it is added, Ivanovic attended, among other things, a dinner hosted by Macron for high-ranking officials at the Elysee Palace, as well as the summit's plenary session at the Grand Palais.

The Government of Montenegro has hereby confirmed its commitment to integrating Montenegro into global initiatives related to the safe and ethical development of new technologies," said Ivanović.

On the sidelines of the event, Vice President Ivanovic had brief meetings with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikola Pashinyan, the Federal Chancellor of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berce, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and Tourism of Malta, Ian Borg, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and the Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay.
