Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović welcomed Italian President Sergio Mattarella, who arrived on an official visit to Montenegro, at Podgorica Airport.
Mattarella will be welcomed at the Residence in Cetinje on Tuesday, with the highest military and state honors.
After the talks between the two presidents and the meeting of the delegations of the two countries, Milatović and Mattarella will open the exhibition "Montenegro and Italy: Meeting of Two Nations" at the Ministry of Culture.
The upcoming official visit of Mattarella, as announced by the President's Office, is a confirmation of the excellent and friendly relations between Montenegro and Italy and a continuation of President Milatović's strong diplomatic activity on Montenegro's path towards full EU membership by 2028.
