In a sea of poor personnel decisions in Herceg Novi, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, just before the local elections in that city, took the remnants of the long-forgotten Socialist People's Party (SNP) into the Government of Montenegro, said the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
"We almost forgot that the SNP exists in Herceg Novi, but miraculously, Prime Minister Spajić reminded us and brought another in a series of incredible personnel solutions.
Milan Jančić, president of the SNP Herceg Novi, was appointed as the general director of the Directorate for Sports Infrastructure in the Ministry of Sports and Youth, by a decision of the Government of Montenegro, a man who called fellow citizens employed at the Herceg Novi Health Center idlers. We wish him never to visit the Herceg Novi Health Center and never to get a toothache. Still, unfair, right?!
Regarding the second expert: also by the Decision of the Government of Montenegro, Aleksa Đekić was appointed Acting Director General of the Directorate for Forestry, Hunting and Wood Industry in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. The man who was sentenced to a suspended sentence of 3 months in prison by a final decision of the Basic Court in Herceg Novi, which was then confirmed by the Higher Court. The verdict also states that the sentence will not be carried out if the defendant does not commit a new criminal offense within one year of the verdict becoming final," the DPS statement states.
They add that it is better not to mention that Đekić has absolutely no connection with forestry, hunting, and the timber industry, except for maybe taking a walk through Orjen a few times.
"A few days before his appointment, a new court case was initiated against Đekić for abuse of official position at the Herceg Novi Health Center, and the outcome is awaited. So, we will be treated by 'non-workers', and the SNP members will be rewarded. Who else respects the law, and what is the shamefully large number of ministries for, if not for the election campaign?", the DPS asks.
