Almost all leaders of the European Union (EU) and all foreign ministries of member states found time in the first hour after the Zelensky-Trump meeting to express their position and express strong support for Zelensky, the international secretary of the Social Democrats (SD) and representative of the European Union, Miloš Đuričković, announced today.
He stated in a statement that in Montenegro, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimović are "wisely" silent.
Đuričković stated that Spajić and Ibrahimović, even as the President of the Parliament, Andrija Mandić, do not express a "personal position", "because we know that Montenegro does not have a defined and clear foreign policy and that it has become a bunch of different personal positions".
"We remind the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister that Montenegro is obliged to harmonize its foreign policy with the foreign policy of the European Union within the framework of Negotiating Chapter 31 - Foreign, Security and Defense Policy. Yes, yes. Look at the miracle. The very chapter that Croatia blocked due to the views of a significant part of the ruling majority and members of the Government," said Đuričković in a statement that he also published on the social network Iks.
He also said that the reaction of the President of Montenegro "Jakov Milatović, which happened, simply does not deserve a comment - a few words, without smell or taste, visibly written in fear."
European Union: The developed, democratic and free world must support Ukraine and be part of the process that will lead to a lasting and solid peace as soon as possible
The European Alliance, which, in addition to the SD, consists of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the LP, announced that the developed, democratic and free world must provide support to Ukraine and be part of the process that will lead to a lasting and solid peace as soon as possible.
"On the third anniversary of the Russian Federation's military aggression against Ukraine, the European Union has emphasized its support for the Ukrainian people and understanding for their struggle for freedom, independence and sovereignty of their state. Today, they already need the support of the free democratic world, which recognizes the right of peoples to their country, name and identity, and the right to independently decide on their path and democratic development," the statement said.
The European Union added that imperial powers and their authoritarian and dictatorial regimes have no right to blackmail other states and nations with threats of military occupation, destruction, and nuclear cataclysm.
"The developed, democratic and free world must provide support to Ukraine and be part of the process that will lead to a lasting and solid peace as soon as possible, which will deter all potential future intentions of the aggressor to continue its military campaign and set an example to similar aggressors around the world that they will not and cannot be successful in their occupation campaigns. We must ensure that the rest of the 21st century is a time of technological progress that will bring the conquest of additional freedoms and human rights, the development of democracy, education and emancipation, free trade and economic prosperity of all states and nations. Free, democratic and anti-fascist countries still face great challenges, but the outcome is clear - freedom always wins," the European Union statement reads.
