Following information that national pension beneficiaries in March had still not received their January pension, the Civic Movement URA was contacted by employees of the National Parks who said they had still not received their salaries, said Nemanja Bulatović on behalf of this political party.
"I am sure that no one in Montenegro believed that Prime Minister Spajić would fulfill his recent promise that he would personally pay everyone who is late with a payment from the state treasury with his own money, but it is simply incredible how easily the Prime Minister of the country utters untruths, while at the same time putting the financial stability of the country at risk. There is no longer any doubt that the state treasury is in a catastrophic state and that in addition to pensions, salaries are also at risk," he is convinced.
Bulatović said that while the National Parks were managed by Vladimir Martinović as director, employees received what they had earned through dedicated work without any delay, while record results were achieved in the number of visitors and revenue generated.
"This irresponsible attitude towards employees who take care of 8 percent of Montenegro's most valuable territory is also reflected in the attitude towards the state of Montenegro, which must concern every well-intentioned citizen. I believe that it is high time to put a stop to this attitude towards state resources, employees and state finances, because every day of the rule of the current ruling structure led by Mandić and Spajić leaves incalculable consequences for Montenegro and its citizens," concluded Bulatović.
