The party bodies of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in Nikšić will make a decision today on how to participate in the April local elections and select the leader of the list, the party announced.
"Four years of life, in symbolic but also essential darkness, which cost them 9.500.000 euros, were enough for the people of Nikšić to realize that this city deserves some more well-intentioned, knowledgeable and capable people who will manage it in a responsible and professional manner, who will be guided by the interests of the city and its citizens, and not by their own interests and the interests of their families, godparents and friends," says the Nikšić DPS.
They say they will "fight for every citizen."
"Four years of intensive cooperation with citizens, who helped us greatly during our opposition work, who contributed to exposing numerous scandals and misdeeds of the current - outgoing government, oblige us to fight together and on April 13th declare the policies that have made Nikšić a city of darkness. We will fight for every citizen, for every idea on the basis of which this city will become a better place to live for all the people who live in it, and remain a bulwark that defies those who want to destroy an independent, civic and European Montenegro," the statement reads.
