Statements by any politician cannot jeopardize Montenegro's traditionally friendly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), said Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimović.
He said this at a press conference after a meeting with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky, answering a journalist's question about what he thinks about the support of the head of the Montenegrin parliament, Andrija Mandić, for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and how much it harms relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ibrahimović emphasized that the position of the Montenegrin Government, and therefore the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), is clear when it comes to relations between BiH and Montenegro.
Montenegro, he said, supports the sovereignty, territorial integrity and unity of BiH.
Ibrahimović said that all political actors in Montenegro should know that they must behave responsibly when making statements, but also when it comes to visits to certain countries.
"I am glad that our friends, the citizens of BiH, know that the position of certain politicians is not the position of official Montenegro," Ibrahimović said.
Montenegro will, as he pointed out, continue to foster friendly and good-neighborly relations with BiH.
"The statements of no politician, no matter who he is, cannot jeopardize the traditionally friendly relations with BiH," Ibrahimović said.
