After the European Commission gave the green light to the Law on Civil Servants and Employees, the parliamentary majority rewrote it to turn it into a law for the employment of politically exposed individuals by scandalously lowering the criteria for managerial staff.
This was assessed by Aleksandra Vuković Kuč, a member of parliament from the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), at today's press conference in the Parliament of Montenegro.
As she added, most of it has led to individuals who do not have sufficient education and experience, but who already have bachelor's degrees, managing companies.
She said that this "huge fraud" by the European Commission and the "subsequent deception" of citizens must not pass and called on the Government to withdraw this Bill if it cares about EU integration.
"This degradation of professions and knowledge carried out by an ignorant and malicious government in the system has a clear goal - to make Montenegro a state of mediocrity, where the worst students can hope for leadership positions, only if they are activists of the coalition For the Future of Montenegro, Democratic Montenegro and the Europe Now Movement," believes Vuković Kuč.
"The DPS also called on the European Commission to review what happened at the Government session with the Bill for which it gave a positive opinion, giving significant recommendations for its improvement. The Minister of Public Administration withdrew his opinion for a law that he himself proposed, imagine that situation. Because it is not the same law before and after the Government session. This is a law that we can say is against knowledge, expertise and excellence, which seems to have been made at a market stall," the DPS MP assessed.
Vuković Kuč said that nothing like this law shows the nature of this government, which is best described in the documentary film "Meta", which was shown on Television Vijesti.
"We call on all our fellow MPs and ministers in the government to make their diplomas available for inspection, to see who has a regularly acquired diploma," she added.
