The Party of European Progress (SEP) has submitted a list of candidates for councilors in the Nikšić Municipal Assembly in the elections scheduled for April 13th.
List leader, president of the Municipal Board of SEP in Nikšić Nikola Čvorović, He said that the party offers a new approach to politics - politics that is not focused on office politics, but on investments, development and improving lives.
"We will focus on infrastructure, social and child protection, assistance to students, rural households, families and single parents. We will be a bridge of unity, not separation. Our party extends a hand to anyone who supports our program, because we do not want to deal with issues that are not part of these elections. These elections are an opportunity for progress, development and prosperity of Nikšić and therefore I ask all participants to compete in programs, and not in divisions on religious, national or any other basis. We should all fight for Nikšić! It is time for Nikšić," said Čvorović, the SEP announced.
SEP President Duško Marković said that the set goal was achieved in Podgorica this fall, by entering the Capital City Assembly, and that now it is time for the same goal to be achieved in Nikšić.
"We also have this goal in Nikšić, to present ourselves to the citizens and gain their trust, enter the local parliament and contribute to the achievement of our program goals that will change Nikšić for the better," said Marković.
The second goal, he added, is a change of government in Nikšić.
"We think it's time for the government in Nikšić to change and, through human resources and program goals, to offer Nikšić and the citizens of Nikšić much more than they have today. Unity, harmony, respect, appreciation... Nikšić - a city without discrimination, Nikšić in which people will find jobs and live decently, Nikšić in which young people will stay and contribute to the development of both Nikšić and Montenegro," said Marković.
