The Municipal Election Commission (MEC) of Nikšić has confirmed the list "URA - Drugačije - Dušan Golović!" for the upcoming local elections to be held on April 13, 2025 in Nikšić.
The leader of the URA list is Dušan Golović, and 20 percent of the list is made up of non-party figures, while 40 percent of the list is made up of women.
"The local elections in Nikšić will certainly determine the path our city should take. When it comes to the Civic Movement URA, things have always been clear, we want Nikšić tailored to the needs of all its citizens. Nikšić in which we will not be counted on national grounds, Nikšić in which the government will focus exclusively on the development of the city. Nikšić in which the best among us will have the opportunity to take on responsibility in the most responsible positions, not those with purchased diplomas, Nikšić in which the only reference for employment will not be a party card or acquaintance with some of the government officials. We want Nikšić as a green city, we want to return to it the good old spirit by which it was recognized. We are sure that the vast majority of our fellow citizens also want such a city, which is why we are convinced that after April 13, when we take over responsibility for managing the city, Nikšić will also take that path," the URA announced.
