Prime Minister and Europe Now Movement President Milojko Spajić said that, "in a divided Montenegro," every sign of consensus is significant.
He posted a photo of the agreement he signed with part of the opposition three days ago.
"Montenegro is moving even faster towards the EU! Although we have had an unnecessary delay, we welcome the opposition's decision to accept European institutions as partners and Barometer 26. As can be clearly seen, the Agreement defines the manner of consulting the Venice Commission on the issue of the termination of the mandate of judges of the Constitutional Court. In a divided Montenegro, every sign of consensus is significant! Thank you for everything, let's move forward," Spajić wrote on Iks.
At a meeting held at the premises of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, organized by Ambassador Johan Sattler, Spajić and opposition representatives Danijel Živković (DPS), Damir Šehović (European Union) and Adrijan Vuksanović (HGI) signed an agreement in which they agreed to submit a request for an opinion to the Venice Commission no later than seven days after the agreement, regarding the procedure for determining the termination of the mandate of Constitutional Court judge Dragana Đuranović, which caused a political crisis in Montenegro.
