With this bizarre statement, PES only confirmed that May 21st - Independence Day - is not celebrated in Podgorica, which is confirmation of an even greater embarrassment and shame for the party of the Prime Minister of Montenegro, said the head of the DPS parliamentary group in the Capital City Assembly, Andrija Klikovac.
Earlier today, he accused the local government of bringing "representatives of Guča" to perform on Independence Day, alluding to the fact that Dejan Petrović & Big Band will have a concert on May 21st at the Podgorica Market.
The Europe Now Movement (PES) councilors' club in Podgorica replied that the Pazar program was not the same as the Independence Day celebration program, reminding Klikovac that the same band opened the "Summer with Stars" event in Bar, where the DPS is in power, in early July 2023. They asked the DPS councilor if he would mind if they had hired folk singer Jami.
