Today, together with Deputy Prime Minister Milun Zogović, the Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandić laid wreaths at the Masline barracks in memory of "the heroes who defended the skies, land and sea of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia 26 years ago, as well as the innocent civilian victims of that conflict."
"President Mandić dedicated the wreaths to the 'Heroes of our country', emphasizing that we proudly remember those brave people who, guided by the purest feelings of patriotism and love for their homeland, stood in defense of the common state and gave it everything, including their own lives," the office of the head of parliament announced.
Today, Mandić, together with Zogović, laid wreaths at the Danilovgrad barracks, in memory of "the innocent victims and our heroes who defended the skies and borders of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia 26 years ago."
"President Mandić dedicated a wreath to the first victim of the NATO bombing, young soldier Saša Stajić, as well as to all the heroes who laid down their lives in defense of our common homeland, emphasizing that we remember with reverence all innocent civilian victims," his office said in a statement.
