Although he is one of the leaders of the Albanian Forum Nick Djelosaj more than a month ago, announced a session of the presidency of that coalition at which they should review its participation in the government Milojko Spajić (Europe Now Movement), that meeting has not yet been held, nor is there any announcement that it will be held.
A high-ranking official of the Albanian Forum told "Vijesti" yesterday that there was no session and that there was no other information.
On the other hand, Đeljošaj, the vice president of the executive branch for economic policy and minister of economic development, did not respond to the newspaper's questions about why the meeting was not held, and whether it would even take place.
On February 17, Đeljošaj announced in a statement to "Vijesti" that the Albanian Forum Presidency would meet by the end of that month, saying that, "as serious people," they must review whether the programs they had planned and which are part of the agreement on the formation of the current, 44th Government, are being implemented.
He came forward with this message after the executive branch announced a tender for the lease of beaches and an increase in rents for them.
He also said at the time that he was with the president of the opposition Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA). Mehmed Zenko, agreed that every decision of the Albanian Forum regarding further political action would be coordinated with the DUA for the sake of, as he stated, strengthening the "Albanian factor on the political scene of Montenegro".
"I expect that we will soon unite the parliamentary groups in the Parliament...", added Đeljošaj.
Ten days later, on February 27 (Thursday), he took a more conciliatory stance, stating that the fact that political actors have different opinions "does not mean that someone is against the Government." He assessed that the "time of single-mindedness" had passed, and that the Presidency of the Albanian Forum analyzes the coalition agreement and what has been implemented every three months.
"If we have different opinions, it does not mean that someone is against the Government. We all take responsibility, and it is normal in politics to take responsibility for what happens. Politics is a living process," Đeljošaj underlined.
Commenting on the same occasion on the opinion that the reason for reconsidering support for the executive branch was the tightening of the conditions for the tender for the lease of beaches, he responded that it was "misreported" and that he did not mention the tenders.
"This is one of the issues for which we did not have agreement in the Government, because we voted against it. Not only because of that. I expressed my concern as Minister of Economic Development and Deputy Prime Minister, and said that we could jeopardize the season. I think we should not have allowed that," he said, announcing that a session of the Presidency of the Albanian Forum was scheduled for the end of that week.
However, it was not there then either, and on March 4 (Tuesday), the Albanian Forum unofficially informed "Vijesti" that their presidency should be held until the end of that week. Since then, there have been no formal or informal announcements in the media of a session of that body of the Albanian Forum.
The coalition consists of Gheljosha's Albanian Alternative (AA), the Democratic Alliance of Albanians Ivan Ivanaj and the National Union of Albanians Ferhata Dinoše.
All minority political actors, including the Albanian Forum, announced in early January that they would create a platform that would ask Spajić to decide on the moves of the head of parliament. Andrije Mandić (New Serbian Democracy). However, nothing came of it, and judging by the messages from the Bosniak Party (BS) - it is questionable whether that document will even exist.
BS told "Vijesti" in early March that they and the Albanian parties decided to be part of the current government, because in this way they "positively influence its European course, which is unquestionable." They added that these parties are "the best promoters of Montenegro's European path," and that this has been confirmed several times by the most important international addresses...
"European integration is the most important goal of the current government, and minority parties, through their participation, certainly contribute to Montenegro's progress on its EU path. Minority parties are the guardians of Montenegro's EU path and Montenegro's membership in the EU is our common goal, which we are working towards with dedication," they told the BS newspaper at the time.
Most minority political entities are part of the government - BS, Albanian Forum and Albanian Alliance, while DUA and Croatian Civic Initiative are in opposition. ND
