Prime Minister Milojko Spajić will be in the United Arab Emirates from March 27 to 31.
According to the platform for Spajić's visit to the UAE, he will meet with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as with Minister of Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
"The bilateral meetings will be an opportunity to highlight the great importance that Montenegro attaches to the development of relations with the United Arab Emirates, which are based on friendship, solidarity and mutual respect. Prime Minister Spajić will reiterate the importance of improving cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally. Given that the UAE is one of the most significant foreign investors in Montenegro, and is affirming our country as a safe and attractive investment destination, the focus of the visit will be on further strengthening relations in the areas of economy and tourism," the platform states.
Spajić will also sign the Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on Economic Cooperation and the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism and Real Estate Development.
"These documents will establish a legal framework for dynamizing economic cooperation in areas defined as mutually beneficial," the platform states.
The delegation, which will be led by Spajić, will also include the Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of Montenegro in Abu Dhabi Aleksandar Moštrokol, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Branko Krvavac, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property Majda Adžović, the Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Adis Pepić, the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs Milica Perišić and the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Media Veliša Jovanović.
