"Nikšić will continue on the path of progress, through responsible social policies, led by a man who has already proven that he knows how to build a better tomorrow. Nemanja Vuković and his team have shown that initiatives are not launched for personal promotion, but to improve the quality of life of all Nikšić residents," said the vice president of the Democrats, Momo Koprivica, at the election rally of the "Nemanja Vuković - We Are All Nikšić" list in Grudska Mahala.
"Nemanja Vuković is a man who showed that Nikšić can and must be a place of equal opportunities for all. He has dedicated his entire life to the fight for freedom, justice and higher social values. As a leader, but above all as a man, he proved that politics can be honorable if conducted honestly. He did not divide people, he did not create conflicts; on the contrary, he proved that traditional values and modern development can go hand in hand if there is vision and dedication," Koprivica emphasized.
According to a statement from the "We Are All Nikšić" list, speaking about the changes that have occurred in Nikšić, he assessed that the Municipal Assembly is today an institution of living democracy, while once it was only on paper.
"Thanks to Nemanja's perseverance and democratic commitments, politics has become responsible and focused on citizens, not party interests," said the vice president of the Democrats.
He also took the opportunity to remind us of the situation the current government found itself in after the removal of the DPS.
"No one claims that Nikšić is awash with milk and honey today, but a lot has been done from a deep deficit. We have shown that every department can be better, that the budget can be bigger, that investments can never be greater. We are fighting for Nikšić, because a strong and progressive Nikšić means a dignified life for all its citizens," said Koprivica.
He also promised that after the elections, the focus would be on concrete work, not celebration. He also addressed political opponents, warning that their fight was not aimed at the betterment of citizens, but at protecting personal interests.
"We see that they are on the offensive and that they are fighting, but for what? Not for Nikšić, but for free apartments, concessions, privileges for the children of officials and small hydroelectric power plants. They are not on the offensive on Nikšić, they are on the offensive on Spuž, to free their political associates who ended up there. They are fighting for rivers, quarries, natural resources, for everything that our ancestors left to future generations," concluded Koprivica.
