Milan Knežević continues to raise tensions by inventing enemies and pushing identity issues, all in an attempt to undermine Montenegro's European path, said Maja Vučelić, a CIVIS MP in the Parliament of Montenegro.
She was reacting to an interview in which the DNP leader, among other things, said that military alliances are being formed against Orthodox Christians in the Balkans, commenting on the declaration recently signed by Croatia, Albania and Kosovo.
"It is clear that the corrupt autocrat from Belgrade and his henchmen are concerned about Montenegro's growing proximity to the European Union. Their goal is to keep us forever in the Balkan quagmire of partitocracy, where only nationalists profit and corruption flourishes. Fascinated by retrograde policies and the most corrupt autocrats in power, Knežević does not shy away from inventing facts in the style of Informer — such as the one about the size of the Bondsteel base or fabricated threats against the Orthodox people, who live the worst lives precisely in the countries where the politics he represents are in power. And as for the claim that Vučić does not care about the people, what does Knežević need when he has Informer and Happy?", said Vučelić in a post on the Iks platform.
