The European Union has sent a clear message - Montenegro will join the Union during this term of the European Parliament, say the Europe Now Movement (PES).
"In Strasbourg, we adopted the Declaration and Recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association between the EU and Montenegro. Thanks to the strong initiative of our MPs, the EU has sent a clear message: Montenegro will join the EU during this mandate of the European Parliament," the party announced on Instagram.
The head of the PES parliamentary group, Vasilije Čarapić, also made a statement on that social network.
"Today in Strasbourg, we adopted the Declaration and Recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association between the EU and Montenegro. The MPs of the Europe Now Movement made a key contribution to the unanimous adoption by the MEPs of the conclusion - Montenegro will join the EU during this mandate of the European Parliament," Čarapić wrote.

The meeting of the European Union-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) in Strasbourg ended today with the adoption of a joint Declaration with recommendations, which were addressed to the Stabilisation and Association Council, the institutions of Montenegro and the EU.
