Anyone who continues to support the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) is an accomplice of DPS tycoons and false oppositionists in the offensive on Nikšić's seats and budget and bears responsibility, the coalition "For the Future of Nikšić" (ZBNK) announced today.
"It is clear to everyone that the alleged arrival of new people, new faces, 'rejuvenation' and 'purification' is just one big and unsuccessful farce. The DPS itself is no longer even trying to hide it. The DPS is the same DPS as it was before 2020. It is the same DPS that is governed and decisions are made by the same great leader and where key positions are occupied by the same people that the citizens of Montenegro kicked out five years ago. Thanks to the money it stole from the citizens of Montenegro, the DPS comfortably plays the role of a very honest opposition party and dreams of gaining power and continuing where it left off - to take a little more from the citizens. They are clumsily masking this plan of theirs with various stories about anti-fascism and caring for the citizens. The only plan for Nikšić that the DPS has is to regain power and continue its criminal enterprise," the ZBNK statement states.
The coalition added that Nikšić knows that the truth is different and that DPS is not an opposition party.
"Nikšić knows that DPS is an organized remnant of the system that stole from us, left us unemployed, and drove us out of our cities. DPS is the opposition like an old refrigerator - it doesn't cool anything, but it still buzzes," said the ZBNK.
They state that the list "For the Future of Nikšić" "is not surprised by such moves by the former regime."
"DPS is like rust - you don't see it right away, but it destroys everything it touches. Since this fraud is not going away, DPS and the great leader are becoming increasingly nervous. Nervousness and inability to regain power have forced them to resort to extreme measures. In their recent public appearances, DPS attackers are frantically stating the worst untruths, hoping to grab a few more votes. In doing so, they no longer even pay attention to what they say. What is particularly dangerous, and comes from DPS, is inciting interethnic hatred and division among citizens. DPS goes so far as to not even shy away from inciting conflict and provoking conflicts between people in order to regain their seat," said the ZBNK coalition.
They stated that they would not allow conflicts and divisions among citizens.
"Instead of conflict and division, Nikšić needs new investments, new jobs, new development projects - everything that DPS did not bring to the people of Nikšić in 30 years of power. Citizens well remember the decades-long rule of DPS in Nikšić and the devastation they left behind. What DPS did to Nikšić cannot be forgotten or forgiven. While we were standing in line for work, they were standing in line for commissions," the ZBNK statement reads.
From that coalition, they stated that DPS does not deserve to lead a local community.

Nikšić knows that we will defend at all costs the financial stability we have created, the thousands of jobs we have created, the financial support for families and children we have introduced, and the key infrastructure projects we have implemented as well as the new ones that are about to begin. In the end, it remains a pity that a great DPS leader did not run for mayor in these elections. Nikšić knows that Marko Kovačević, the leader of the 'For the Future of Nikšić' list, would beat him to the punch," said the ZBNK coalition.
