The High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kalas, will be in Montenegro today at the start of an official visit to the Western Balkans.
The European House announced that Kalas will discuss relations between the EU and Montenegro, the country's strategic direction and progress in the EU accession process with President Jakov Milatović and Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
Kalas will also hold a meeting with ambassadors of EU member states, talk to representatives of civil society, and present EU support in the field of defense and security.
It is stated that Kalas will be at the "Knjaz Danilo" Military Airport, where the High Representative will present the European Peace Fund support package intended for the Army of Montenegro and attend the presentation of military equipment together with the Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović.
