While political tourists are racing to see who will promise more to the people of Župlja in the final stages of the campaign, we from the Party of European Progress (SEP) are asking them what is happening with the recultivation of the Bunić and Zagrad open-pit mine?, announced today the leader of the SEP electoral list "Time for Nikšić" in the local elections in Nikšić on April 13, Nikola Čvorović.
"Why are these areas still listed as active, even though exploitation has long since ended - just so investors can avoid their legal obligations? Do they also face the fate of Mislova Dol and the euthanized cows - arrogance, injustice and oblivion?" Čvorović pointed out in a statement.
He asked where the water is for Zagrad and Oblatno, where the electricity is for Lukavica, although as he said, the electrification project has been gathering dust in drawers for decades.
"Where is the even paved Morački put to Konjsko, the 900-meter-long section that they promised every year before the elections? We are fed up with promises, fed up with false presentations and fairy tales. Fed up with manipulation of people who know what honest work, honor and loyalty to their region mean," said Čvorović.
He said that the people of Župlja have a clear choice this time.
"Either the rulers will be those who remember you every four years, or the people who are with you every day. I, Nikola Čvorović, the leader of the SEP list and a man from the heart of Župa, do not promise fairy tales. I respect my own, and I will fight for our region to get what it deserves. This is not another appeal - this is a call. A call for the dignity of Župa Nikšić and the people of Župa and the defense of that dignity," Čvorović stated.
