The leader of the "We Are All Nikšić" list, Nemanja Vuković, visited the villages of Crkvice and Velimlje in Banjani, where he spoke with locals and said, from a pre-election rally in that area, that the current local government is right to once again seek the trust of citizens, because it stands behind actions, not empty words.
As he said, in the past four years, Banjani has not been forgotten, but has been clearly recognized as an area in which to invest.
"When we worked, we tried to repay the people of Banjan. Not only because of the great support you have given us all these years, but because we believe that the village must remain the heart of Nikšić. That is why we paved the roads, reconstructed the school in Crkvice, renovated the ambulance, built Vladičina voda, introduced free tankers, and brought back the bus line. We fulfilled everything we promised. But I am proud that we also did a lot of things that we did not even promise," said Vuković, according to a statement from the "Svi smo Nikšić" list.
He added that the people of Banj expect even greater investments, including the project to build a water supply network, the conceptual design of which has been prepared.
"Today we no longer say that we promise something, today we guarantee it. We guarantee that we will continue to invest in every village, that we will open up opportunities for agricultural farms, eco and ethno tourism. We want to create conditions for those who stayed here, but also for those who left to have a reason to return," said Vuković.
He pointed out that Nikšić is again at a turning point.
"For the past four years, we have served citizens, not tycoons and criminals. I hope that in the next four years we will have a government that does not run away from people, but talks and solves problems together with them. There is still a lot of work left to do, but now we have the time, strength, and experience to complete it," said Vuković.
