Serious politics cannot be conducted without young people, who are today the key drivers of change and builders of the city's future, said Nina Kasalica, a candidate for councilor on the "Nemanja Vuković - We Are Nikšić" list.
"Young people, as carriers of change, must have a prominent and responsible place in every segment of political life. Their representation in decision-making and visibility on the political scene are the main prerequisites for the prosperity of Nikšić," said Kasalica.
She recalled that in the previous period, the local government had taken concrete steps to support young people, from increasing student scholarships to establishing two Youth Cultural Centers, as well as continuing cooperation with the Scout Association.
"We will continue to provide strong and systemic support to young people, because investing in them means investing in the future of Nikšić. They cannot remain on the sidelines, because they are the ones who should create the vision of the city in which they want to stay," she said.
Kasalica said that the "We Are All Nikšić" list remains consistent with a policy that sees young people as partners, not a statistical category.
